The Alpha Score is a composite measure that summarizes the overall performance and potential of a venture. It consolidates multiple signals into a single benchmark value and positions the venture within a quartile ranking (Q1–Q4) relative to its peers.

2. Alpha Score Change

This shows how the Alpha Score has evolved over the past six months. It highlights percentage growth or decline, helping to track momentum and direction of change over time.

3. Health Check

The Health Check provides a dynamic assessment of the venture’s overall trajectory. It aggregates the trends across all key signals to present a forward-looking gauge of whether the venture is improving, stagnating, or declining.

4. Venture Signals (All)

This section uses a radar chart to visualize the balance across the main venture signals. It allows quick identification of areas of strength and weakness by comparing performance across different categories simultaneously.

5. Alpha Index Trends

This section breaks down the performance of the venture across each of the underlying signals over the past six months. Each signal is measured individually and benchmarked against peers. The signals include:

  • Momentum – Tracks growth activity, traction, and overall velocity.
  • Partnerships – Measures the strength and development of alliances, collaborations, and ecosystem connections.
  • Innovation – Evaluates novelty, product differentiation, and technological strength.
  • Market – Assesses market opportunity, positioning, and external demand signals.
  • Money – Reflects financial health, funding, and capital-related indicators.
  • Evidence – Captures validation through adoption, customer traction, or proof points.
  • Team – Evaluates leadership, expertise, and talent growth.
